Silence Our Survival

Silence is survival
Those who spoke up
We attended their funeral
Those who look up
We question their countenance
Brethren, Silence, I regret to say, Is survival.
Those who kept quiet
We see them tomorrow night
Those who are granted access to the corridor of power
Come out to tell us we should be calm
Everything is under control
In their pockets we hear the jingling of coins
Brethren, Silence, shameful of me to say, is survival
A friend of mine said ‘’too many keyboard activist’’
The revolution we wage is from our electronic device
I wonder what you will tell you children’s children
When they ask you where you were when The Country was failing
I know what i will tell mine, on my dying bed
Children, silence is survival.
We are here today because we kept quiet.
WE ALL KEPT QUIET!!!
WE ALL WATCHED!!!
*fading voice* we made Silence our survival
