Let Me Grow, Find me Home

Oh! Let me grow
Please let me bloom
I have my heart unwrapped for education
Not this selfless, mindless humiliation
Don’t take me from my home
Where i still weep for what I am yet to know
Don’t take me from my sisters with whom i play tic tac toe
I am fresh out of play grounds;
 Mother is not even done with my growing yet
How will my fragile life cope with your act...?
My dreams are scary enough already
I can’t even tell mother what i dreamt of
Don’t make my existence a living nightmare
I have painted pictures of rainbow over my books
While reading them has brought me endless joy

Let me live, let me grow... i am just a child

I am just a child.
